Roger Deraemaeker began hairdressing in 1964 and already as apprentice he demonstrated some talent of creation. In 1978, he decided to launch into the creation of personal hairdressing in opening his first hairdressing salon in Eupen in Belgium.
In 1979 he got the first prize of creativity of Paris. As a result of this prize, his hairdressing salon became too small compared to his talent of hairdresser. Then he decided to move toward Germany, in the borders of Belgium, in the city of Aix-la-Chapelle (Aachen).
Today, Imagine Hair, is one of the best hairdressing place of this city.

Today, better known as the simple name Roger, he takes part in numerous hairdressing shows around the world.
Here is a small list, non-exhaustive:
- 9 times hairdresser for Miss Germany
- 2 times the realisation of “Top model of the world” (Miss World)
- Numerous television shows on TV channel like RTL, RAI UNO, SAT1, PRO7, WDR, VOX, …
